Special systems

We see ourselves not just as a standard industrial furnace system builder, but also as a system supplier of custom solutions even for special customer requirements. Take advantage of our extensive process knowledge that allows us to comprehend and implement solutions, even for complex tasks: Technology shaped out of knowledge.

Complete melting and casting lines for mould casting.

High level automation.

GiessanlagenLarge-scale production requires a reliable, largely continuous supply of metal. Apart from high quality metal, a high degree of automation is required as well. For these applications we have developed a variety of melting, treatment and casting processes to provide for efficient casting. These systems are tailored to customers' specific needs we meet in an optimal configuration. The casting weight is between 5 and 70 kg/piece; for lower casting weights, speeds of up to 300 cycles per hour can be achieved. The liquid metal capacity of a casting line is presently 8,000 kg/h.

Ramp melting

A wide field of application.

Ramp melting

A wide field of application.

RampenschmelzenThe custom unit pictured adjacent was tailored to the needs of a customer. Appropriate to the task, aluminium T-bars or sows with weights of approx. 750 kg and a recycled portion of 30 -50% had to be melted.
Because the EtaMax® shaft is not suitable for melting T-bars, the T-bars were melted on the melting ramp. For the melting of the return material, the EtaMax® shaft is used to ensure the usual high metal yields at low energy consumption.
After testing the first system and showing the very positive balance of energy and metals, the customer gradually converted all works to use this melting process.

Highlights and application:

  • Melting ramp suitable for all standard T-bars and sows
  • Preheating of the return material in the melting shaft during the ramp melting
  • Extension of the melting shaft for bulky return material
  • Laser monitoring of the filling level in the melting shaft
  • Separate gas consumption measurement for the ramp and shaft melting
  • Other sizes upon request.

Systems for the zinc industry

Systems for the zinc industry

Tailored to the needs of our customers.

ZinkThe melting and holding systems for the zinc industry are tailored to specific production processes, including for the manufacture of zinc alloy or for the supply of metal for continuous casting systems. These systems then cover the entire process chain from the raw material to the transfer to the finishing stage.
The adjacent picture shows a melting and holding furnace for melting block and recycled material used in the production of battery casing. The layout was adapted to the customer's production conditions, especially as regards the supply of material return as well as the supply of the liquid metal to the continuous casting machine.
The melting capacities of the systems are adapted as required for up to 10 t/h and the holding capacity for up to 50 t.
