Solution

The StrikoMelter series is the optimum melting solution for pressure die-casting, and in particular for the casting of structural components, as it is the leading solution in the sector and offers a consistently high metal quality. For the casting of structural components in particular, building on the strengths of the StrikoMelter, the BigStruc is now also able to melt extremely large-volume and thin-walled returns. In addition, the StrikoMelter allows very low unit costs as a result of its low energy consumption (for example PurEfficiency: 489 kWh/t) and its high degree of metal yield (up to 99.75%).

Solution

Schnorkle is a closed system for transporting liquid aluminium from the melting furnace to the dosing furnace. The closed system increases safety during the internal transport of liquid metal to the die-casting system and contributes to a constant metal quality throughout the casting process.

Solution

The Westomat is a closed system which removes the pure melt underneath the surface of the bath at a constant temperature of the melt, thus preventing oxides from forming in it. The biscuit correction system achieves a dosing accuracy of up to ±1%. The Westomat is also the most cost-efficient solution for dosing (or pouring) aluminium.
