It also allows extremely low unit costs as a result of its low energy consumption (for example PurEfficiency: 489 kWh/t) and its high degree of metal yield (up to 99.75%).

Solution

Schnorkle is a closed system for transporting liquid aluminium from the melting furnace to the dosing furnace. The closed system increases safety during the internal transport of liquid metal to the die-casting system and contributes to a constant metal quality throughout the casting process.

Solution

The Westomat is a closed system which removes the pure melt underneath the surface of the bath at a constant temperature, thus preventing oxides from forming in it. The special development of the VPC Dynamics furnace control allows various casting ramps to be set and up to 10,000 moulds and casting weights to be stored. It is also the most cost-efficient solution for dosing aluminium.
